Application Process China

Our aim isn’t just to find the right candidate for the position advertised. We also check  if there are any other positions  that might suit you. We prefer you to apply through our online e recruiting system. This portal enables you to securely submit  your complete application, including your CV, cover letter and all relevant documents. The application process is divided into several stages as below. (Note, when you click each stage, a detailed information box will appear)

Visit our career page and search current vacancies to find an interesting job vacancy. Clicking "Apply" leads you to our e recruiting portal. If you are registering for the first time, please follow the instructions on the portal to receive your username and password to log in. If you already have a username, please enter your password to log in. Then you have the possibility to create your own profile and upload your own documents. After submission, you will receive a confirmation message.

The responsible recruiter reviews your application. If your profile matches that of the position, you will be invited to a telephone interview. 

During the telephone interview our recruiter will  gather some first impressions about who you are and what skills or expertise you can offer. We will also be pleased to answer any questions.

If you pass the telephone interview, you will be invited to our office for a face-to-face interview to get to know you better. You will meet potential colleagues and see how SGL Group in China operates as an employer.

Congratulations! You will receive our job offer after passing the final interview and the pre-employment health check.

On your first day, HR is responsible for your  on-boarding process. You will have an office/plant tour to get familiar with your working environment. Your manager will follow up with you on a work plan and trainings in order to integrate you  into the team as soon as possible.
